Definition:
                English philosopher and mathematician, in the U.S. after 1924.

Paragraph:
                 Whitehead created Whiteheads metaphysics, this philosophy emerged from The Concept of Nature and it was expanded in Science and the Modern World. It was an important study of historic ideals and the role of science as well as mathematics in Western civilization. He was interested mostly in theology and as based in the Church of England, however before World War One, he considered himself agnostic which meant he was unsure of his beliefs.
