Impeach

Definition of Impeach:

to make an accusation against; to bring formal charges against (a public official) for wrongdoings while in office.

Sample Sentences:

  • Very rarely do you see a President get impeached.
  • Bill Clinton was the most recent President who was impeached.
  • To impeach someone, you have to gather various sorts of information that is factual.

Paragraph:

When the word impeach is mentioned, what is the first thing you think of?  I say Presidents.  Presidents can be impeached for various reasons: treason, bribery, misdemeanors and a ton of others.  Removing a President from office requires for their Vice President to take over office and finish his/her term.
